Has Heeley got talent? Well we at Heeley Development Trust think so and to prove it we will be asking local pubs, community groups and churches within the community to organise Talent Contests.
Winners and Runner-ups from each contest will then perform in the Grand Final at the Heeley Festival on Saturday 19th June 2010.
So come along, you young and not-so-young, and show off your talent. Who knows you may be a winner, but “You’ve got to be in it to win it!”
Please note that the competition is open to local people only – proof of address may be required! Local schools are interested in staging heats so look out for details over the next few months.
Heeley Festival will be staging the usual eclectic mix of music, dance, community stalls, car boot and displays so if you are interested in booking a stall or you would like to perform, please get in touch with Maxine at Heeley Development Trust on 0114 2500613.
