Meersbrook Bank Community Primary School is looking to appoint two Community Governors to the Governing Body.
Governors are people who have an interest in being part of a school community and wish to make a positive contribution. Alongside the headteacher, Governors contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the school and contribute to its achievements. Being a Governor demands a certain commitment of time, it is a very rewarding experience and you will get plenty of opportunity to share in the life of the school. You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team of fellow Governors and there are plenty of opportunities for your own development.
You don’t need any prior experience or knowledge of education to become a Governor.
