Nazarene Coffee Morning Raised over £2000 for Bangladesh Orphan Project.
On Saturday 4 December the Church of the Nazarene in Heeley held its annual Christmas Coffee morning. There was plenty on offer: home-made chocolate and a chocolate fountain , seasonal gifts, second-hand toys, bric-a-brac, refreshments, a mini-fun fair and, of course, a visit from the man in red.
The event was very well attended and there was a real feeling of celebration in the air. The Church would like to give a big thank you for everyone’s’ generosity: even though Christmas now seems in the distant past for most of us, the lasting legacy of the coffee morning is that we raised over £2000 for a project in Bangladesh that provides housing for widows and orphans.
