Our area:
The South Community Assembly covers the four wards of Gleadless Valley, Graves Park, Beauchief and Greenhill and Nether Edge. It covers 1,989 hectares (7.7 square miles) of south Sheffield. It has a population of 73,988.
 
The South Community Assembly is made up of a mosaic of urban areas surrounded by woodlands, parks and green space.

Meet the team:
The Chair of the South Community Assembly is Councillor Clive Skelton and the Deputy Chair is Councillor Colin France.
 
Supporting Councillors Skelton and France is a team of officers, who can help you and give you information about how Community Assemblies work.
 
Martin Hughes, Community Assembly Manager, who will have overall responsibility for assembly activities.

Dave Aspinall, Planning and Performance Officer, who will help to develop a community plan and make sure that services are adapted to meet local needs.

Sarah Lucas, Assembly Officer who will ensure good communication and involvement with local residents and groups.

Garry Collingwood, Safer Neighbourhoods Officer who will work closely with the Police.

Carol Morton, Team Support Officer, who will provide administrative support to the team.
