With our free online MyGuide drop in sessions you can set yourself a number of goals or simply just find out what the fuss is with computers and the internet to satisfy your curiosity.
So what can you actually get out of the MyGuide sessions? The possibilities are endless! Want to keep in touch with your granddaughter while she is travelling on her gap year? Well with our help you can learn about email and send a message, photo or even video to someone anywhere in the world instantly. Alternatively, you may want to discover the world of digital imaging where you can take a picture and view it on the TV or PC. You may be considering buying your own computer or laptop but don’t know where to start. MyGuide can help you with this too, giving you lots of advice on your options and making a cost effective purchase.
We encourage you to progress and offer more formal taught courses in IT if that is what you want to do. Currently running are Beginners IT, Digital Imaging and Spreadsheets. Phone us to put you name on interest lists for September!
Our aim is just to provide a relaxed environment where you can learn how to use the internet and computers in your own time. You’ve got nothing to lose as it’s completely free! So what do you have to do?
It’s simple- just come down to the Online Centre at the top of Thirlwell Road or ring and book a session. Come alone or bring a friend – there’s a warm welcome awaiting you at Heeley Online Centre.
The Heeley Online Centre is open 3 days a week. There is always someone on hand to help if you are stuck.
The opening times are:
Tuesday: 9am – 12pm / 1pm – 4pm
Wednesday: 9am – 12pm / 1pm – 4pm
Thursday: 9am – 12pm
