Carfield School Summer Fair – 3,139 thank you’s !

The Summer Fair was absolutely fantastic. It was a great day and there was a great sense of community. A huge thank you goes to all the Staff, children and parents who so freely supported the event to make it the biggest Summer Fair ever.  

So far we have raised an absolutely fantastic £3,139 with money still coming in! A really special thank you goes to the Carfield Friends group who worked tirelessly to make the Summer Fair happen. I hope you all enjoyed the music, entertainment, the vintage fire engine and all the other attractions.  

Once again, Jean and John Hoyle did the school proud with the truly exceptional display of plants. As a gardener myself, I really don’t know how they do it!! The plants were not only fantastic quality but incredibly inexpensive by garden centre standards. The results of the raffle draw are in school if you want to check if you are a lucky winner.   

The fair raised much needed funds for the school that supports the majority of the enrichment activities, such as the theatre visits, visitors in school and trips out of school. Some of the money goes towards buying additional resources for each year group and improving our outdoor environment too, so all the children benefit from your generosity. A most sincere thank you to everyone who attended, donated and helped. What a result!
