Over the festive season, more people will become aware of being excluded and left behind with every advert saying go to www.this and www.that. UK Online’s latest campaign kicks off in the New Year, encouraging people to get online in 2011.
The Go On – Get More Out of Life online campaign takes place between 17 January and 14 February, and aims to inspire people to make going online their New Year’s resolution!
We want to give people a chance find out how the internet could help them in everyday life – from getting on at work to keeping in touch with family and friends, exploring interests to saving time and money.
Heeley Online Centre is the perfect place for local people to start to explore the possibilities that the internet has to offer. The Go On Sheffield campaign will feature high profile events and attract high profile guests to the city so look out for coverage on TV and radio. There will be events city-wide too, not just in Heeley, so if you have friends and relatives in other areas who may be interested, spread the word!
For more details, or to come to the Heeley online centre, phone Maxine Bowler on 0114 2500613.
