Bishops House, located at the top of Meersbrook Park in Norton Lees, is one of Sheffield’s historical gems.
The Friends of Bishops House (FOBH) are working to ensure its historical value is recognised and the building is properly preserved for future generations to enjoy.
We will be holding a Community Heritage Weekend which will produce an archaeological and historical survey of the site.
The local community will be invited to join in the activities alongside Sheffield University’s Archaeological Department and Heeley City Farm’s Community Heritage Officer. Bishops House itself will be open to the public during the weekend and the activities will be free and open to everyone.
