The limited opening times are causing traffic chaos in the region of The entrance to the Blackstock Road recycling centre. The huge waiting times are inevitably going to encourage fly-tipping as well,

I concur with Dr Kohn, and particularly, given that collections of household waste have also been halved recently. Surely, It would have been more sensible to increase opening times at all the recycling sites.

The increase in need for re-cycling centres due to decreased household collections has resulted in longer waiting times at the centres. I have witnessed the frustration as users wait for upto one hour and the need for police to be called due to accidents caused by queues on the road outside Blackstock Rd site.

I can’t believe its closed at weekends. Surely that is when most people need access to it. Close it one day during the week or for a few mornings and pay the blokes who open it what they are due.

I agree …..whats the point of closing at weekends when people who have to work need access to these facilities…get your act together and listen to the people who you are meant to provide services for….no wonder we struggle to meet our re cycling targets!!
