Friends of Newfield have recently received excellent news: the bid they submitted to the South Assembly Positive Activities Small Grant fund was successful… to the tune of nearly £2000!
Newfield School with Activity Sheffield, are going to be running a ‘Saturday Club’ making full use of Newfield’s fantastic sports facilities, on Saturday mornings, 11am to 1pm, from 21st January 2012.
There will be 5-a-side football on the Astroturf pitches, and all sorts of different sports in the hall. Bring along your ideas of what you’d like and we’ll try to make it happen!
We want the sessions to be as inclusive and fun as possible, so although they are designed for 8-16 year olds, parents will be very welcome to stay and join in if they wish, and younger brothers and sisters too, if parents are staying.
Sessions will cost £1 and there will be refreshments available.
