The Heeley-based Community Composting Network is kicking off their new Big Lottery Local Food project with a series of 9 informative seminars across England. We want to get as many food growers along as possible so we can tell you about the project and get you involved.
The aim of the project is to improve growers composting skills so your crops can reap the benefits of having high quality, locally produced compost. We’re offering an accredited training course free of charge, initially, which will be run from 12-15 training hubs located throughout England. Liz Woodward is busy writing and preparing the course material and will run the seminars. The seminar will run 12-4pm on Thursday 29th March at Green Estates – a really interesting venue! A complimentary locally sourced lunch is included. The day promises to be jam packed with information, inspirational ideas and networking opportunities – come along and find out more!
