Voces de Cuba, supported by the Music Fund for Cuba, is a project to bring the exquisite Camerata Vocal de Música Áurea from Santiago, Cuba to visit the UK  in the summer of 2012.

These 15 inspiring choral musicians, under the direction of Delvis Sanchez, will perform and run workshops for community and classical choirs and will work with schools and community organisations in Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds, York, Edinburgh, Bury and London.

The Voces de Cuba Spring Fayre takes place at Meersbrook Community Walled Garden on Sunday 20th May 2012 (1-5pm) and will be an opportunity to see performances by Sheffield Socialist Choir, whose members first met up with Música Áurea at the biennial choral festival in Santiago in 2003 and again in 2009.

There will also be a range of stalls selling plants, books, clothes, stationery, accessories, bric-a-brac, CDs, tapes, sheet music.
