The days on which Sheffield’s five Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) are open are changing. From Wednesday 6th June 2012, some sites will no longer be open every day. In addition the opening times at the sites will be changing.
The new opening hours for Blackstock Road Recycling Centre will reduce to Friday to Monday only, at the following times;
Summer hours 1st April – 30th September (10am until 6pm)
Winter hours 1st October – 30th March (10am until 4pm)
Bank Holidays: Open to usual hours (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day)
Household waste can be taken to any of the city’s 5 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), you can find details of the other Centres opening times on the Sheffield City Council website
