Starting this week, Heeley Development Trust are working with the Sheffield Wildlife Trust to run a series of environmental activity sessions in Heeley Millennium Park .
The sessions will be for children aged 8-13 and will be an opportunity for them to get up close to nature and to get their hands dirty!
There will be all sorts of fun stuff – bug hunting, willow weaving, kite making and leaf printing to name just a few. So if you’re aged 8 to 13 (or have children that age) and fancy getting involved, come down and join in! (Note: younger children are welcome to come down but we ask that parents/carers come too).
These sessions will be on the following dates and times, we will meet by the Millennium Park playground and will be FREE of charge:
Wednesday June 13th 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Wednesday June 20th 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Wednesday June 27th 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Dont worry if you cant attend all of the sessions, just drop in on the ones that you can.
