Meersbrook Park After School Club are running a two-week Holiday Play Scheme for children aged 4-14 years. The Scheme will run from 6th-17th August, 8.30am-6pm. Children with additional needs are welcome as the After School Club has won awards in ‘playwork’ and ‘inclusion’.
It will be based in Meersbrook Park Pavilion, off Meersbrook Park Road where the After School Club is normally based. There will be lots of exciting trips and outings included in the cost; outings to local parks & museums and daily workshops which may include Circus Skills, Street Dance, Art, Music, Sculpture and Drumming.
The rest of the time is ‘Free Play’ including access to wonderful resources and trained Playworkers who will gear activities to the children’s needs and interests from a broad range of activities: creative play, den making, role play, small world play, outdoor crafts, construction, sports, games, reading and ICT.
A morning and afternoon snack will be provided, but children will need to bring a packed lunch.
There will be options to book either:
FULL DAY – 8.30am-6pm – £20
HALF DAY – 8.30am-1pm OR 1pm-6pm – £10
Plus a registration fee – £5
