Job Vacancy – Volunteer Manager at Football Unites Racism Divides (FURD)

FURD are looking to recruit a Volunteer Manager who can make use of their connections with refugees and asylum seekers in order to recruit and manage volunteers that will engage with the aims of both the research project and FURD more widely.

The main aspects of this work will be

  • building bridges between FURD and other organisations working with refugees and asylum seekers,
  • helping with the organisation of events that will raise awareness around asylum issues with new audiences,
  • recruitment of volunteers from refugee backgrounds to speak at these events and retaining their interest by involving them more with FURD’s work.

The vacancy is for 18.5 hours a week until 31st March 2013. The closing date is Monday 23rd July.
