FREE Workshop in Heeley Park – Learn about Traditional Woodland Management

Come along to our Woodland Management Skills Workshop on Wednesday Feb 20th, 1-3.30pm in Heeley Millennium Park.

A hands on workshop to learn about traditional woodland management techniques and skills. Includes:

  • Hazel & willow coppicing and identification
  • Learn to use traditional tools
  • Find out more about looking after the woodland
  • Canes, pea sticks and poles to take away for your garden or allotment

This workshop is FREE and will be delivered by the Heeley Parks Team. Meet at the Crows Nest.
