Time for another gourmet evening at Heeley City Farm!
The Farm Kitchen is hosting its first pop up restaurant event of the year. On Friday 22nd March the Farm’s on site community cafe will be transformed into an evening venue and will be serving up delicious vegetarian and vegan gourmet food.
We recommend booking a table without delay as every event the cafe has hosted so far has sold out in advance. Check out the menu below – although we don’t have a license to sell alcohol you are welcome to bring your own along to the meal.
Starters;
Sweet figs on toasted soda bread (vegan option available)
Polenta cakes served with red onion, sweet tomato, and chili relish
Warm bread and dips
Main Course;
Mediterranean pistachio crusted tofu, with a wild rice pilaf
Mushroom and stilton wellington
Both mains to be served with baby new potatoes and a pomegranate salad with a saffron and tahini dressing
Desserts;
Chocolate fondant with a salted caramel sauce
Apple and calvados tartlets
Served with cream, vegan cream or ice cream available
Tea or coffee, £17.99 per person, first sitting at 7pm.
