Heeley Park now has two large artificial boulders, plus smaller boulders and ‘stepping stones’ to provide facilities to climb for all ages and abilities. To promote these features and encourage people to have a go at climbing, we are holding a Heeley Hang bouldering session this Saturday (23rd March, 12-3pm).
This a free event that will allow novice climbers to try out donated rock shoes on the new boulder, and give the more experienced a chance to design climbing challenges that will be collected into guides for visitors to download from the (soon to be launched) Heeley Park website.
