Magic Lantern Film Club is back at the Heeley Institute with a screening of Luis Buñuel’s 1961 masterpiece Viridiana on Saturday 27 April 2013. Viridiana was extremely controversial at the time and was banned by Franco in Spain but won the Palm D’Or at Cannes. Entry to the matinee screening includes a Spanish buffet after the film.
