An event showcasing 26 artists from Heeley Art Club begins at the Winter Gardens on Monday.
‘Sheffield Out Of The Frame’ runs until Sunday May 19th and will exhibit 68 pictures of non-Sheffield related subjects.
Artwork will be available to purchase, with prices ranging from £30 to £300, along with cards and prints for sale.
Heeley Art Club, named because many of the original members lived in the area, has existed since 1895. The group started out at Thirlwell Road Wesleyan School in Heeley but then moved to Meersbrook Vestry Hall – over the years the club has had various locations and currently meets at the Methodist Hall at the bottom of Millhouses Lane.
