The Heeley Park Team will be holding a Winter Crafts Workshop at the Heeley Institute on Saturday, February 15th.
The family-friendly workshop will include kite-making and flying with the Community Kite Project, and winter-themed painting with ‘Artists in the Making’, a locally-based company that provides art and digital photography workshops for kids.
There will also be a whittling demonstration, and youngsters will be able to create creatures with sticks collected from the park. Hot drinks and snacks will be available throughout the Winter Crafts Workshop, which takes place between 12noon – 3pm.
