After a summer break to organise the 2014 Big Boulder Music and Arts Festival, Big Boulder Promotions will be returning to the Heeley Institute with an autumn/winter program of intimate roots music performances including O’Hooley and Tidow, Martin Carthy and Big Tent and the Gypsy Lantern.
Performing on Sunday, 21st September, Barry Coope, Jim Boyes and Lester Simpson have been internationally recognised leaders in the field of acapella singing for over twenty years. After 16 albums and occasional Blue Murder the trio will be performing ‘In Flanders Field’ in Heeley, combining original compositions with music hall pieces, poems, jokes and extracts from the Wipers Times trench newspaper.
