rideforeric-918pxRide for Eric has been organised by the friends, family and colleagues of Eric Codling, who was killed by a reckless driver whilst out on his Sunday bike ride in early November 2013.  Taking place on Sunday, 21st September, Ride for Eric has planned three routes to attract cyclists of all ability and experience.

The Space for Cycling family ride costs £10 per person/family and offers a 6km marshaled ride suitable for children, with costume, music and bike decoration more than welcome.  The Intermediate Ride is a 16km route costing £12 per person and at 50km, the Club Cyclist Ride is aimed at experienced cyclists and costs £15 per person.  All proceeds go to Cavendish Cancer Care.

All rides start and finish at the Abbeydale Sports Ground in Dore.  Ride start times, routes and booking forms can be found on the website www.rideforeric.com

Ride for Eric is supported by Cycle Sheffield, who campaign for a cycle-friendly city. Please consider becoming a member at www.cyclesheffield.org.uk @cyclesheffield
