Big Tent and the Gypsy Lantern, with The Bronze in support, will be performing at the Heeley Institute on Saturday, October 11th.
Tom, Paul, Danny and George formed Big Tent after performing around the world with various different folk collectives and projects, releasing their debut album ‘Richest Man Today’ in 2012 after graduating from the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Winners of the Purbeck Rising 2013 and shortlisted for the Emerging Talent competition at the 2013 Glastonbury Festival, Big Tent are currently working on a new album and will be performing in Heeley after a successful appearance at the Big Boulder Music and Arts Festival 2013.
Holly Taymar and Chris Bilton originally met in York in 2009. After recording two EPs, both of which received considerable airplay on BBC Radio 2, Holly and Chris became The Bronze earlier this year to mark the transition from accompaniment to full-blown collaboration, releasing their first full-length, eponymous album in September.
Tickets cost £8, or £6 concessions, and can be purchased at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/273998
