Book & a Beer @ The White Lion – 27th April, 8pm

Would you like to make some new friends, and share your love of books?

The White Lion is hosting a new book group called Book & a Beer that will meet on the last Monday in the month (starting at 8pm) to discuss well loved books or discover new ones.

Each month the group decides on a book to read and then at the next meeting there will be an informal but structured discussion about the book and then a more relaxed chat for the rest of the evening for those that want to stay.

The group will be run by Liz who has run a book group before and lives locally –  ‘Have you ever finished a book and wished you could tell someone how much you loved or hated it and why. Wanted to mull over what might happen next or what the characters might get up to away from the page? There is little time in our busy lives to relax and enjoy a good book and sometimes we need a bit of encouragement, if you are interested then come along to our first meeting on Monday, 27th April’
