For more than 20 years, Meersbrook Park After School Club has successfully provided a safe, secure and supportive environment for children during out of school hours. Based in the Pavilion in Meersbrook Park, MPASC serves two schools: Carfield Primary and Meersbrook Bank Primary and is a not-for-profit charity, dedicated to serving the community.
The Deputy Co-ordinator will support the Co-ordinator and Playwork team to care for 28 children on any one day. The post is Monday to Friday, 2.45pm to 6.00pm, school term time only plus 2 weeks Summer Playscheme. The Club offers excellent pay and conditions, including holiday pay and is a Registered Charity overseen by a voluntary management committee made up of local parents and carers.
They are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual with an appropriate NVQ Level 3 qualification in play-work (or a similar discipline) or who can demonstrate that they are working towards this.
Salary Band: from £8.75 per hour depending on experience
