It’s the annual garden party at Meersbrook Community Walled Garden on Sunday (1-5pm). There will be childrens games and crafts, teas and cakes, music from Son para Todos and Carfield Community Choir, plants for sale and more!
Entrance is £0.50p or £1.00 per family with funds raised going towards toilet improvements in the garden
There will also be opportunities to have a look around Meersbrook Hall throughout the afternoon with tours running at 1.30, 2.30 and 3.30 – sign up on the day, either in the Hall’s reception or at the Meersbrook Park Users Trust stall in the Walled Garden.

Hi Kate – this may be in part be due to the mailing list settings you have in place – you can set it to email once a post has been added to the site or to receive one email every week (on a Sunday I think). We add things on a pretty adhoc basis but this means that if it’s not done a week or more in advance the event may have happened when you receive the weekly email. I’m really sorry about this, we do try to give subscribers plenty of notice but limited capacity often means that things are uploaded during the week of the event.
