This issue covers the start of the festive period in Heeley with a busy weekend coming up.
On Friday evening (4th Dec) its the 8th Winter Lantern Procession and Christmas Light switch on (5.30pm, Heeley Green), Saturday (5th Dec) is the Heeley Parish Church Xmas Fayre (10.00am start) and its also the Meersbrook Park Users Trust Santa Dash in Meersbrook Park (10.30am start). There is also a new feature covering activities at our local schools and details of the next ‘Heeley Hoofers’ performance coming up in the New Year.
Heeley Development Trust have also started using Twitter!. We want to use it as an online notice board to spread details of local events, news, training courses etc that take place between the New Heeley Voice distribution dates (quarterly). We only started last week so take a look at www.twitter.com/heeleydevtrust to see whats been posted so far.
