HEELEY HANG BOULDERING SESSION – POSTPONED

Heeley Development Trust is very disappointed to announce that the Heeley Hang bouldering session, planned for this Saturday in Heeley Millennium Park, will be postponed due to the extremely poor weather forecast.

This event had been planned to launch the new Sheaf boulder, situated near to the Sheaf View pub.  We had planned to set new climbs on the rock for our soon-to-arrive online resource, as well as launching our Boot Bin of climbing shoes to borrow.  Unfortunately, even if the day is dry, if the boulder is cold and wet from the night before it will not be safe to climb on (it’s forecast heavy snow on Friday night! http://goo.gl/R1MFO).

So, we will find a new date when the weather will hopefully be a bit more reliable and have another go!  Keep an eye out locally and online for details.

Please help to get this message out, and thank you to everybody who has been involved in and offered support to this project so far.
